Description

Shot this guy at the Red Slough Wetlands and Wildlife Conservation Area. Red Slough is in the far southeast tip of Oklahoma, USA. There is anything from Dragonflies to Alligators there, almost 300 different species of birds can be seen in this area, I saw several different species of birds but sadly, I didn't see an Alligator. However, I scared one back into the water or at least I thing it was an Alligator. Judging by the amount of grass and length of grass moving and the sound of it hitting the water it made me have cause for pause about continuing to the bird watching tower about 50 yards further down the trail, had a brief thought about walking into the very tall grass to see if I could see it, but I got over it, LOL. Counting on their natural fear for humans I made my way to the tower and back to the car with out incident, a good thing as I see it, smile. But I would have liked to of got a shot of one, maybe next time. Thanks for stopping by and for any comments you should care to leave. Thanks for the favorites on my last post each one very much appreciated.

Well hey there little cutie.. talking to the dragonfly of course. :) SUPER SHOT... I was out on a bike ride a few nights ago and found an area with dragonflies, so luckily I had my camera and got a few shots. they were fun to watch. The one kept flying off but coming back to the exact same branch he made my job so easy haha
