Description

Hi Everyone, Glad you enjoyed the last photo I posted. Here is a good look at his size. He is clever and knew quickly how to access the seed. I noticed the plexiglass lifted a day or two ago....thought a smart grey squirrel had done it- no. This lets you see he is only a cub. He stood only four feet tall on his hind legs. I sure would have loved to keep him. We had an understanding. He was hungry and I wanted photos- no fear on either side. When my wife came out to see who I was talking to - he ran off. Her voice a sharper tone than mine. I enjoyed the photo shoot. Hope you do not mind - maybe I will post another. -GB-

Yes that reads focal length 100mm. I know there is a time to use caution and keep a safe distance. I could really read his intent- plus I had a plan. Thanks for looking.

Oh wow...I would LOVE to have a visitor like this to our yard! I know they are around town because people have been calling the police department about criminal mischief/vandalism to their bird feeders. Nope, no kids...well, unless you count bear cubs in that group, LOL.

How wonderful to see a bear free and relatively safe! I belong to the W.S.P.A. so many images I see are of bears in horrendous conditions. Thankfully, many now roam reserves knowing freedom for the first time in their lives. Thank you so much for posting this. ^=^
