My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

A beautiful example of Art Moderne architecture. Love the abstract design and colors. Really nice image. Sorry I missed this.

Smiling at Andrea's question. From some, certain things are required:) Excellent composition on these fabulous art deco doors. Another time we will have to go inside...

Oh, this is exquisite...and well...you've got my mind going off in all sorts of directions with this single shot. Do you realize how incredibly easy it is for me to imagine Dorianna walking through those doors and getting into a situation? Well...knowing Dorianna, if there's a situation she's probably somewhere near the middle of it with Ilya and Aleo tagging along, just to keep things from blowing up. I love it when a photograph inspires stuff like that, and like Marilyn, you have this way of capturing stuff that lends itself so easily to some other world. I love the whole composition of this shot, and the nicely brilliant light! This is marvelous!

I stepped in right behind Chip, and I can report that every word he said is true! Mind you, it was difficult just getting past those wonderful doors...

Now those are doors and can you imagine if the doors went all the way up. Who could open them? Lovely details. Dana
