Design is design. The "rules" for composition etc. are pretty much the same as in any art. There are some technical considerations, that go into being a graphic designer, that most of it. Your design looks well, it fits to it's purpose and that's it! Technicalities? The text at the bottom may come too close to the edge for certain print processes. The rest of it is a design as good as many other covers. And your model looks realistic and convincing.
