Description

Foxglove from my garden. The non-foxglove bits you see belong to a morning glory vine that's climbed up the stalk. Natural backlighting, with a bit of postwork. (Maybe more than a bit!) :)

I love the watercolor thing you've done with this. And I still wonder what foxes would look like actually wearing gloves! You really made excellent use of light and shadow here, and you've made the negative space pop as well...I love that! And yeah, the postwork is fun to look at. I love the faint hints of contour map lines and loops, as well as the overall watercolored impression that I get from this. Great colors too. Foxgloves always possess such subtle colors. My grandmother used to grow them, and though I never really knew what they were, I knew that there were usually at least a dozen woodlice and slugs and millipedes somewhere nearby. I had such a one track mind as a kid!
