Description

Finally I am nearing my goal - at least I might have it in sight. All the strata displacements you see were made with functions. Nowhere did I use the shader. It's far from perfect, but getting somewhere at least. I dedicate this to Martin Roes aka prutzworks, Renderosity's Artist of the Month. Well deserved honor, sir! Thanks for looking in!

It looks like one of your WM terrains, and that's a compliment on your TG2 skills!

Very well done. I especially like the world hanging on the horizon. I think that's about how it might actually look on a mildly hazy day.

Kudos to you Rich for your research into and understanding of TG2 functions. Many of us take one look at that terrifyingly formidable gateway, quake in our boots (I speak for myself) and high tail it back to where we came from to seek out easier methods to sculpt terrain. "And So" is an excellent and well controlled illustration of your expertese in that mystical realm of functionland. Well done.

Intricate and so good to see this accomplishment. You may be thinking of creating a tutorial to share on how you created this exciting land form.
