Description
This is a collaboration with my dearest friend Michael, our seventh, I believe, and I certainly hope you all enjoy them as much as we do working on them together. Thank you Michael for wanting to continue to post our work together, I am flattered by your interest. And as you know I love and admire your work. I sure hope you will all go over to Michaels gallery and read the poem he wrote to go with my photo here and also visit some of his other previous post... It's not a far walk just right next door... :)
Oh and Michael it has been so much fun watching the World Cup games together I was so disappointed to see Germany lose, but they played some good and exciting games.. still want to watch the finals together?
Thank you all for the birthday wishes and comments to my last post. I got a sweet compliment from my daughter the day of my birthday, she was gone at her sisters so she called to wish me a happy birthday and I said gosh I am getting old, and she replied to me, with age come beauty, she is just 17, and so wise LOL, I miss her so much she will be home Saturday morning yippee oh and with a new puppy named Lola..
I've been singing that song called Lola to the cat for two weeks now trying to prepare her haha..

Love the "blue" tinge to your capture. I just came back from Mt. Vernon, Maine and there were places like this next to beautiful modern homes. Big contrast. Sad to see. Dana

what an amazing shot, Lynell, so well done, to me it shows the beauty in decay. The many, many, little stories attached to this special place are also mentined in Michaels oh so fitting poem, you do a very special and wonderful work together! And a belated Happy Birthday to you from my side...smile

Nice to work with others in a workshop, with photoshop, and when the result is like this, than its fantastic. Great to show us your sweet, inviting and cosy summer cabin, an impressionistic buildstyle, I think. Picasso was the arqitect I belive?
Stringy
Real sense of neglect and sadness in this shot but visually appealing with all those weatherbeaten textures. Good shot!

I have seen many such structures in my travels and I often do find myself wondering at their histories and the stories of those who dwelt in them!!! David

lol this looks like some of the cabins I saw in Tenn last week. Love the old wash machine on the porch. Ever see the one on the right leaving pigeon forge? Looks very similar to this one
