Description

There can't be many on the planet who don't know at least a little something about the Evening Primrose. For the few that don't, however, the site below gives a wealth of information. http://www.essortment.com/lifestyle/benefitssideef_sjkq.htm These grow just about everywhere, but the ones here seem to favour beaches and this image was taken at Par beach. It was one of many growing on the dunes, vying for space among the hundreds of wonderfuly scented pink and white Beach Roses (rugosa rose, Japanese rose, or Ramanas rose) which run the entire length of the beach and are a sight to behold when in full bloom. More of those later. As you can see, a most welcome shower of rain was falling and although sunshine is wonderful, the couple of hours I spent getting doused with water was the best! Today rain again, so beach again. Yay! Thank you for taking the time to look. ^=^ http://www.essortment.com/lifestyle/benefitssideef_sjkq.htm

A really excellent photo of this iconic seaside plant! I still take GLA and Fish oil every day..can't do any harm even if it does no good!

A real beauty, they seem to seed everywhere but I never tire of there cheery blooms. Your blurring of the background makes the blooms stand out and glow.
