Description
Created and rendered with blender 2.5 (internal renderer).
Post production done in gimp.
Rendertime 7h on an X4.
~500.000 polygons.
I didnt add DOF on purpose, I wanted to achieve a clean, bright look.
The sky and birds came in during post pro.
I think they are ok, my wife commented like
"Shall that be birds? Could also be dirt on the camera".
Sky and birds are from images with a creative commons licence. Here's the attribution:

@all: thanks for the positive feedback and encouragement! :) @ragouc: Wow, you saw it! I dont know why, but I had this picture in the back of my head all the time, while creating the rendering. In the WIP-Version I also tried to theme it into the "dark future, overpopulation" - direction, but then let go of that. Such a building exists in malmoe, Sweden - it's called "Turning Torso", and is an apartment building for super rich. It's the talest in Malmoe, in a part of the former harbor area, so it's visible far out to sea and from Copenhagen. Good work - your image is like a photo - the birds make it all the more realistic. Keep up the good work! :)
