Description

I forgot to post this one when I posted the keys thow on the payment. It look like a trailer park that Rita strom took out almost 4 or 5 years ago. I just wonder why these new steps or here? You see the tag on one of the step. I did go on a week day too so if work was going on here the workers would be here or signs of work going on. I saw no signs or workers. have a wonderful sunday

Cool capture of the desolation left my Hurricane Rita, Jock. And the workers are out on the coast trying to clean up the oil mess.

you know something. This might be the FAMA program that was in place in Louisian call "the road Home" I think that the name of the program. anyway i know some people still waiting to move back home. That why I had to tear down that trailer so the elecitic people can run the line to the new trailer she got from the goverment. She do not have the money for sawage and other stuff so what good is the trailer? That new trailer been there for almost 2 years and she never sleep there yet.

This is a very stark and spooky image! Very surreal. It definitely looks as if something terrible has happened--like something out of the X-Files! The trailers are gone (quickly) because the residents had to evacuate before some supernatural disaster either involving aliens, genetic experiments gone wrong, or some other "conspiracy" type disaster! This is quite a moving and effective photograph and I like it quite a lot. It is very surreal! Also, I just read your comment for the Abbott Hotel post I made...Unfortunately I have never actually been inside the hotel, so I never go to meet the Satan Lady and now that I know she's probably still there, I'm a bit afraid to go in that place. I hear it's got bedbugs the size of Hawaii and THAT is enough to keep me away...bedbugs AND Satan Lady...that's enough to make me move to a different city! The Abbott Hotel is actually a very scary place, even without Satan Ladies! Now, back to this photo! It's quite well seen! You capture a mood very well here; it's haunting and sad, a little bit spooky and very, very mysterious. WOW.

Perhaps they were over optimistic thinking they would be redeveloping with FEMA funds...? Sad shot but great find.
