Description

I forgot to post this one when I posted the keys thow on the payment. It look like a trailer park that Rita strom took out almost 4 or 5 years ago. I just wonder why these new steps or here? You see the tag on one of the step. I did go on a week day too so if work was going on here the workers would be here or signs of work going on. I saw no signs or workers. have a wonderful sunday

Interesting Question Jock. I just hope it wasn't a scam, or classic Government program.

I wonder if the insurance company ran out of money or the people just decided they didn't want to move back there. Great capture of forgotten things! :)

I love that new steps are there. Renewal I still hope. At any rate, it creates an awesome photo piece.

New steps. How very odd. It took someone a certain amount of effort to put them there. They are not exactly light weight. Very, very odd. If you find out the reason, please let us know. I saw a big aircraft stairway, on the side of a mountain once. No place for a large plane to land. Excellent shot!

Jock, are you sure "Louisiana" is still part of the "US of A"? Five years after the storm and this is what you see ! Unbelievable ! Plus the oil spill to boot!

Bet they were part of that FEMA program you talked about! Bet they were to be used as stairs to the trailers they were supposed to house people in. And then they wonder where all that money went to .. what a waste. Great shot .. a very surreal almost creepy feel to this.
