Namibia 2010
Lone Fisherman
The words are my own and describe how I experience Namibia each year and why I keep on returning.
I want to dedicate this to PJ who will understand!
alone - never lonely
just me and the sea
a vast desert behind me
heavens above
just me
the million silent voices
of crashing waves
in endless ebb and flow
nothing else
no one else
just me
soul exposed
not hurtful - comfortable
thoughts directed
to make sense once more
heart stilled, healed
ready to love again
body rested
ready to live again
yes, just me and the sea
just me
