Description
Bonjour,
I have the pleasure to submit you the new works ‘s paintings .Always around of the them “Eternal Return” ‘s F.W. NIETZSCHE and my symbolist approach.
Why alleys in town or village ? When one walk or move along to roads or motorways ,we go from point to an other point. It’s all ! It’s little. Into the alleys ,one look , one lose one’s way ,one turn and return ,… etc … With pleasure or unpleasure ,with happiness or as well suffering. The world with the life of peoples from all countries ,all believes ,all superstitions ,tragedies , happinesses, arts,….etc…The colors of the live .
I have tried to translate this idea. “ If the life don’t you love, love the life..”…..
Outcomes my yearly travels in Morocco and Egypt ,I have used my villages or little towns ‘s memories.
Thirteenth painting : “ SHADES and LIGHTS of the POWER” ( secular and spiritual)
( Karnak Amon Temple –Alley in the great Hypostyle room) Louxor – Egypt)
The historic truth vary with the times and the men (power).
The background present the great Hypostyle room of Amon temple (Karnak).I have tried painting the hoax ( but usual at this historic and religious period) peculiar to the name erasing who has lost (today again) many archaeological researches .
The Egyptian Being was compound of six elements ; in particular the name ( “RN” in hieroglyphic language”). And the name loss or the ruin sentenced the human to be devoured by Ammout after the “ psychostasy” (the Hell in the last judgment in the Christian religion ) . In same time the kings erase from human memories the existence (names and tittles) of their predecessors….
For more explanations you can writing me ….
If I summarize , without “RN” neither present existence nor future (?) existence …..and today with the consumption without brake what become the memory ?
I hope having been comprehensible.
I should try working on the others elements …more later . May be…
Real format after print (art paper or canvas) : 81 x 60 cm.
Technique: Hand numeric paint and fractal elements ( Apophysis)

Really impressive with all that etail on the columns! The color scheme is beautiful with light and shadows. Congratulations to a masterpiece! Actually the hypostyle of the Karnak Amon Temple, "the most prodigious building ever erected" was just a part of the whole temple. How it might have looked like can be seen here: http://gerard.homann.free.fr/WEB_EGYPTE/kar_vues.htm 3D model at Google! http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=4dc58c34814dbc5eb99cf0fc406d4d9c&prevstart=0

Bravo, Jean !!

Great work jean, again! Wonderful gold colours and light! Power has it all, indeed! Your dark figures are also a sign of it, and of streght too! In your image i find human power and the power of history...both are present, even if you show them in diferent times into time. Much to see, muchu to say...You speak and tell a story about about POWER, however it is your powerfull art that allow you this!Congratulaytions once more!
