Love how your hair looks in this, it's perfect! This once again has captured a look in your eyes that is beautiful, perhaps a bit daunting because it says "Yeah, I look great, I feel great, and I can take on anything right now!" It's not a challenging "bring it on" kind of look, but still says "I'm ready for it" in that confident way of someone who feels as good as they look. Great self-portrait.

An excellent cut and style that frames your face beautifully, Alicia. What captures my attention here is expressed ideally in the very first comment. Oooh, girl...you done gone an' got yo' hair did!...I like this shot a lot. Of course when I first looked at the title I suspected layers of a more digital sort...shows where my mind is. This is a rockin' shot. You do an awesome self portrait! I'm still in desperate need to catch up with commenting, but I'm glad that I can peck away at one post at a time as time permits. This rocks. I like the faint grunge effect around the edges of this shot too, it adds a certain something you're supposed to say in French, but can never spell. That really adds quite a lot to an already great photo.
