Description

Across the road from where I work, we had a restaurant that had seen better times. After some discussion, it went down in a pile of dust and rubble. My Boss and I, after getting stuff for the business, stopped by where the Parker House stood and I go some pictures of the rubble. I turned around and spotted this vehicle, which I tentavely identified as a model of the Jeep! If anyone can help me with this, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks for all you comments and faves! I geratly appreciate them all. I wish everyone a great and joyouse weekend Mike

Hmm ,Vehicle is a M-37 3/4 ton truck ,the 1950's -60's vintage Successor to the WW2 Dodge "Weapons Carrier" or truck 4X4 ,3/4 ton,Cargo M-37 to use one of the various designations these vehicles were known by ,I used some of these when I joined the Canadian Army Reserve ,many years ago ,at least this does looks like it. Depending on where you are from, Faemike55 ,it might also be the Toyota 1960's vintage 'clone' of the vehicle used in Vietnam and much of SE Asia by the US military , during the Vietnam war period

Thats a really neat shot! My dad had an old 1956 willis jeep when I was little, and this reminds me of it ALOT. Other than that I have NO idea! Very interesting tho!

It does indeed look a great deal like an old Willies. But it seems to have some rather beefy suspension and reminds me of a military vehicle also. Some research on the net for the early models of both Willies and Dodge military would most likely give you the answer Mike. outstanding shot of a vintage truck. Great eye Mike. seth
