BIOI am a Florida native, I grew up in a Mayo, Florida on a tobacco, chicken and watermelon farm. I am 32 and currently enrolled at the University of South Florida, studying to become an Industrial Engineer. My great-great grandfather was one of the first photographers in Florida. I use a Canon 40D and a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ30. I enjoy nature photography and macro photography.

Wonderful .. and such a rare image to capture an insect drinking like this. Excellent shot. While I think it looks good in b/w I do enjoy your coloring.. also your selective coloring which really brings focusareas to the front. Amazing shot
