Description

This morning, my mom got my attention by saying there was a photo op right outside the house. I grabbed my camera and followed her to the side of the house where I was pleasantly surprised by this beautiful pheasant. I managed to walk right up to the fence and stand within about 6 feet and I took a series of photos. They're all good, but I like this one the best. I hope you do as well Mike

A very good shot. Even wild pheasants tend to be boarder line tame when it comes to humans and how they react to them - at least the ones the live in my part of the world. My father (who hunted pheasant and other game birds) used to joke about how stupid they were. Though 50% of the time they would get the better of him.
