Description

I promised Harry (goodoleboy) I would shine up this old truck for him... well I tried.. hope you like it Harry. I hope everyone is having a nice weekend. I got some bad news about one of my cousins today, he had been out to Yosemite with his wife during the 4th of July weekend, and I guess the area was having a very bad problem with mosquitoes that week, well he was actually trying to help some kids in the water that were being swarmed by them when he got stung himself hundreds of times, he went to a doctor and was treated, but now he is back in the hospital in a tremendous amount of pain from the bites and infections and it is pretty serious. So Brad my thoughts are with you and Nadine and your family tonight. I wish everyone a great week ahead. And I will say that browsing around the gallery today I was so impressed by the beautiful artwork and also to see a few old friends and members back... good to see. Have a great night.

Terrific shot and dedication! Excellent texture, color and crop! I love this fantastic display of rampant rust! I hope your cousin has recovered from his ordeal. That sounds horrible. I know the kids he was helping appreciated his kindness.

The unofficial motto for Sudbury Ontario comes to mind but I don't want to make you mad at me because this is quite a lovely photo. We had a boat in my backyard when I was very little (I'm surprised that I remember it) that was in a similar condition. I had a great time playing in it. Those white walls are also quite a kick.

This is a wonderful shot! I love these old rust buckets as they sit in repose.A state of fascinating decay overtakes them and they seem to turn into something far removed and much more laid back than their former purposeful selves. Love the angle on this pix. Sorry to hear about your cousin. I hope he makes a quick recovery.
