Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Ouch! Bruised ribs don’t really heal very fast. Please take care. Super shot of the bottom of Yosemite Falls. Lots of water means lots of moss and other slimy surfaces. Dana

I tell you, one could never get tired of this place. Most excellent. Aloha

Any fall that happens and involves tequila is understandable. At least you got this great shot to sooth the aching body. :-)

People what people???.. Oh ok I see them when I zoomed in lol, does bring the fall size into perspective... when I hear the word Yosemite always makes me think of the cartoon character Yosemite Sam lol...

Last time I checked Tequila and hiking don't go well together as you surely found out....(shaking finger)...hope all gets better...I'm not one to pass judgment simply because I've been there ,done, that, and wrote a book....lol..Next time enjoy your buzz and leave the hiking for another day..Nice Capture! Terrific contrast in another cool shot of the milky falls, Marilyn! Also, gotta be careful....flip-flops and craggy stuff that you find in Yosemite just don't mix.
