Description

this was the same evening as the previous 71810 I went to visit my son and he probably will remain in the hospital through tomorrow.a surgeon will not know if surgery is necessary until the swelling goes done in his finger.the anti venom cost $8000 for the first dose and $4000 each for the following 3, so a total $20,000.makes me dizzy. good it is a workman's comp claim thanks for all the well wishes for him and comments on this sky

What an amazing sky, I just love your photos Richard. So sorry to hear about your son, please wish him well from me. Wowee I cannot believe the bill, thank goodness you have insurance. We in the UK have the National Health system which is what I use, and that is such a relief, hugs Jane xx

Oh My! That certainly was a nasty little bugger! Copperheads are one of the snakes that scare me cause I am a lousey swimmer and they are always close to lakes and rivers and what not! Expensive anti-venom! Dang! Best for Him and his hand/finger! Let's hope it is going to be all better and no surgeries are needed! Hugs Ariana

What a beautiful sky I thought chemo was expensive..I think the anti venom wins over the chemo... Just the injection of one I get is $4,000 some odd...that doesn't include the medication or cleaning the site etc....no wonder the world is in such a shape...and like you good thing I got Medicare,,,other wise I would of left this world a long time ago......can't live with it...& you can't live without it... either way I stay depressed thinking about it...and people wonders why the economy is in such a state as it is....let them pay for it out of pocket just once...high faluting rich folk like Senators or Healthcare workers pay out of their pocket I bet it would change drastically then.... have high hopes for your son.........he will pull through this... Oh my I must have missed what happened to your son, I am so sorry.. And the price they are charging for his shots makes me sick what a scam.. Not sure what he got biten by I am guessing a snake, but my sister and her boyfriend had a bat fly in their room one night and she got bit and had to have all those shots and I remember her telling me the cost not quite as high as this but it was very pricey.. I wish him all the best.
