Description

this beautiful enamelled pan dates from the 2ndC.AD It was found in N Staffs by a metal detector. about 10 years ago and is in the Potteries Museum. It is quite snall...about 4" across but is really equisitely decorated. It isn't complete, the handle is missing. It had been used on Hadrian's Wall,and somehow found its way 100miles or so south.
