I have yet to capture a Horse Fly, dont think there are any out here. They have some fascinating eyes! Awesome shot! I am jealous, but happy for you. ;)

some flies can be pretty and some nasty, and others mean. the big one we call horse flies and they bite horses.during the early spring here there are flies that bite the dogs. excellent macro and comparison
