male Polyommatus icarus Hauhechel-Bläuling The female butterfly is also in my garden. Together I did not see it however yet. This tiny butterflies with a wing span of 25 to 30 millimeters is only to discover when he flies. One of his favorite flower is the white clover. He is not much bigger than the clover blossom. I was lucky to photograph him on the lavender! At present we have a light thunderstorm.
