Hot Pirate Lads, hot Pirate Lasses, now we have a hot Prince Vlad :o)
I wanted to achieve the candle light atmosphere like in that special scene in the movie... well the hardest part was the silk texture of his shirt! But Shader OPS did a decent job and with the indirect candle lights, it looks great IMO.
Is it just me or do you think too that Mina should be the only one who gets closer to him? ;o)

Wow Saskia... love the atmosphere. The subdued lighting works really well. The textures are also quite well done (if a tiny bit hard to see because of the lighting, but hey, they'd work that way in the real world as well). Only suggestion I have is maybe add a slight halo around the candle flames (just a soft blurred glow basically). Now all he needs in Mina, and Vlad will be a happy man.

I leave you honest comments, just like this one...no, Mina should not be the only one that gets close to him... You should do an FX picture of you with him - lol... c'mon, I know you want to - lol... how's that for honesty - lol... picture looks fabulous, but his face is awful dark, would suggest a spot light or two with a amber light... you'll have to do a few test renders and adjust your light to make it look just right, but at the end, you'll have a masterpiede, everything else is great, just need some magic lighting.... and around the candle, I'd paint a blur ball just to give it a little more glow.
