Description

This is very similar to an earlier post; I shot this about 50 yards south of where the first shot was taken. I started not to post this because of the similarities, but after comparing the two shots, I decided due to the time of day, month, colors, and POV it’s really quite a bit different, and I guess the main thing is, I like it, and I like the differences that a couple of month has made. How the time of day (lighting), shot in July rather than March (Colors), and changing your location (POV), has transformed the same basic scene into a work of its own. Thanks for stopping by and for any comments you care to leave. Thanks for the favs on my last post!

Great capture! Just a shift of a couple degrees and a few feet makes all the difference in the world. even a few side steps (if possible) changes the view dramatically.

I like this POV better also and I think that the (maybe an eagle) in the center of the shot is a big plus. Dana

:::😢:::: my mountain! How wonderful you were there! My childhood years were spent within view of this wonderful old volcano. 7th grade geography at Central Junior High in Lawton taught me that the Wichita Mountains are the oldest range in North America. Mt.Scott has such a special feeling to it for all who visit it's flat summit. A place for a peaceful soul and being one with the universe. Thank you for posting~ =) Mwah! To the buffalo~ ;)
