My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Nice closeup and interesting rust pattern on the seat. Without the title you might have a problem identifying it.

Wonderful capture, Tara! A great series for sure I have to admit, as a bike rider, I find the destruction of this bike by throwing it away, reprehensible in that if the person did not want the bike, to donate it to a place that could restore it and give it to someone who would appreciate it a bit better

Five excellent images...all shot in 6-7 minutes almost all from one POV. Images like this really allow you to be creative in your postwork...and you have succeeded wonderfully! :*

This is a wonderful close to a fantastic series! This is also a series I'll be revisiting in the future! Rust! I love that stuff as long as it's not on something that I need in a rest-less state! I love all of the rich colors and the light in this is superb! Yeah, this is a really fantastic piece of artwork! I love it!

Thanks for a great series, Tara. Like Faemike55, I'm horrified that someone could neglect a bike to that extent, but it's made a wonderful set of images.

What a story this saddle could tell of journeys past.

You have transmogrified it into some strange river creature..and I have really enjoyed the process!
