here I think the office mess is. I do not think the crew eats here. I could not go into the room for there was a net covering the enter way with a hole in it about eye level. I put my camera in the hole and shot some photos. This was the best one for this room.
I think I got the crew mess hall some where. I got some photos still in my camera I can not get out for they not on the chip they in the camera memory. lol Now i got to find the box with the instructions to read how to get it off the camera

Lots of lights, projectors etc. hanging from the ceiling. Hey Jock what is the function of this ship, I'm curious! I'm no Navy man but as in all the forces the officers always get the best digs. Enjoy that BBQ !

It does look like a more formal setting for the officers rather than members of the crew.A good shot especially since you were restricted to the peek hole.

i always hooked the cameras on the pc with the usb connection and treated the camera as a floppy/cd/dvd whatever in the old times. now with the cards i do the same. usually i use my total commander filemanager and copy from a to b or z to y depends on wich letters you have. i never go through one of this crap photoprograms i just want the files and for the rest i open the photo programm that i want and not the one the camera wants. i post this comment here it may be of help to other users the way i do it. nice shot by the way.
