I'm a painter, turned illustrator, turned designer from Seattle that now makes a living as a senior creative director in middle of the desert in Phoenix, Arizona. Life is strange to say the least. A few years ago I returned to painting, through traded my Winsor brushes and Golden Acrylics for Poser, Vue, and Photoshop, and have since resumed doing commercial illustration for a select clientele. I mainly work in 3D, but almost everything I do is overpainted until my wrist hurts as I just can't roll with squeaky clean stuff - it's not in my nature.
Recently my work has appeared in Ballistic Publishing's EXPOSÉ, was added to Steve Wozniak's personal art collection, been featured at MacWorld San Francisco and can soon be seen on limited edition tee's at Barney's New York and Fred Segal Los Angeles.
I'm married with three cats and can't seem to have less than ten Mac's in the house at any given time... you never know, I may need that bondi blue iMac for something one day ;)

Thanks to Hardware Toad for reminding me what the game was called. Yes, very Crimson Skies, as if the sky itself wasn't a big enough reminder. Great work on the environment for setting the mood. While a realize girls wielding large tools wearing nasty cutoffs will always draw a lot of attention my real love is that nasty airplane. Completely goofy and cartoon-like in its proportions the way the tail almost recedes impossibly in the distance due to its scale to the rest of the plane, I'm still drawn in by those textures that describe a lot of stories prior to this moment. Whether its Crimson Skies or Sky Captain, its a good adventure genre to create in. Well done, once again. btw, also like the girl's face being a little more of a country-girl-tomboy character rather than the Angelina Jolie kind of approach. Good choice, imo.

Excellent work! It kind of has a Fallout 3 feel to it, I think it is the style of the plane that gives this. Over all it is great work, with a good title.
