Thank you so much my dear friends, for all the support of 'Vigil for Rags'. He was a dog that will always hold a special place in my heart.
I hope you enjoy this picture I made, and it takes you away into a precious fantasy land, far away from every day troubles.
Another little character I made for another story within my book. The cutest little girl is a free stock photo from DA. I painted the hair, the ear, dress, and the wings, and touched up the face a little.
The background is mine. created from an original stock photo by mysticmorning on DA, and again just a little part of a whole big picture I made of the Enchanted Forest. The photo of the kitten is my precious Amy (camera - Finepix S5000) taken when she was about 6 weeks of age.
Whole scene painted and manipulated within PS Elements 8.
Imagine how surprised a kitten would be
To find a fairy asleep in a tree.

Note for those of you who don't know:
It is sad and I am so very sorry for my friends on here, that I had to take all my stories and poems off my gallery. Someone who is clearly not like the rest of us on here steals my work. I know that all the people who comment on my work are my friends and it is clearly someone who lurks to see what they can steal for themselves, completely disregarding the time and love gone into each of my pictures. Wow, and when are you gonna make your backgrounds available in the marketplace? I for one could use a set of forest images like I have been seeing in your gallery. Kudos on the fairy wings. Now that took some thought, most everyone would have had them upright and flush, but you show them deflated and down - like a limp limb. And they much resemble the dragonfly in the lower left. My only quible would be that her gown seems a bit wrapped around the tree limb instead of hanging straight down. Your postworks skills continue to grow and your compositions gain in strength with eash posting.

The kitten looks like he's saying, "Whaddat?" Beautiful and enchanting image! Lovely and graceful draping of her hair and fabric. I hope she has had a fair amount of sleep already, because hair and fabric dangling like that is going to tempt the kitten sorely. Wonderful lighting and atmosphere! I love the way the light catches the mist that seems to circle around beneath her. And the way her left foot can be just barely seen behind her gown. Wonderful image and Amy, of course, is adorable!
