here a shot that i had to use flash. It some bunks that is made up some what. Quess this is where the people sleep overnight; stays at? You have to have a party of at lest 20 people to stay over night. Do not know how much that will cost? I got a office quarters where some sleep so I post that next time and the sleeping area be finish and we move on to some else. mabe the rooms that is closed off but have a glass window you see thought? or something to do with my trip to Baton rouge. saw so much and still a lot to see. It just rain here and the streets is flooded. cars pasting by and I need to go somewheres but I say "no way". All part of life

Good comments above...all very interesting. Your tour of the ship has many of us quite interested. Concerning PJ's comment...I don't think anybody ever thought of this tight space as home...instead it was just the place for their wall locker, a few clean uniforms and a crash pad...shared with others thinking the same way:) Excellent coverage of this tiny space along the inside of the hull.

Oh that brings back some haunting memories while I searved on the USS HS Haven in 1966! There were some 5day stretches I never saw the light of day! :{
