"You barbarian!" One of the doctors, a thin, tall human, shouted before pulling out a comlink. Joshua snatched it from his bony hand and crushed it. "You are calling no one. What you are going to do is see another patient, get some caff to drink, maybe even play some golf. But your contact with that patient is ended." Joshua said. "Just who do you think you are? Some simple mercenary is not going to tell me what to do!" "Do not talk to Ambassador Kirk like that!" Denice called from inside the room where she worked to save Mek Merisun. "You do not want to cause a diplomatic incident." The man opened his mouth to continue, but stopped when Kirk grabbed his collar and brought his face inches from his own. The doctors eyes grew wide with fear and struggled out of Joshua's grasp. When he was free, he fled up the ramp to the next floor. "How do you do that?" The other doctor asked as she watched her colleague fleeing, a grin on her face. "I can see in infrared. When I do, my eyes glow red." "Fascinating." She whispered to herself. "Well, I'm going to make sure that moron doesn't make matters worse." She turned and jogged up the ramp. Joshua watched her rump bouncing with great interest. "You have a one track mind, don't you?" His father Gath Pok said jovially as he strode up with an adorable girl of about six riding on his shoulders, and a lovely blonde at his side. Gath shook his head when he saw his son. "Denice wasn't kidding. You do look like Joshua." "How could you not know what your sons look like?" Revah, the wife of Mek asked the taller Pok. "Because the last time I saw them was when they entered the Imperial Navy. They were seventeen at the time." Denice Williamson stepped into what was left of the doorway and gave all a smile. "He's awake, not a very pretty sight, but he'll be fine." Revah pushed her way past the short doctor and rushed into the room. "I have two of our Wookiee orderlies coming to move him to our part of the hospital. That way, we can keep an eye on him." A Devaronian female walking up the ramp smiled when she saw the group in the hall. "Hello. I'm Veera Kilen, the administrator for this hospital. The press is here Ambassador Kirk." She glanced around at the others. "Which ever of you is the Ambassador." "That would be me." Joshua said as he stepped forward. "Let's get this over with. I have a feeling that I need to get home."
