Description
A classic RPG foursome: Warrior, Mage, Rogue, and Archer. Looks like they're spoiling for a fight. I'd think twice about it, if I were you. They look like they mean business!
These ladies represent the four tribes of Elves in the fictional world of Yama, the setting for my as-yet-unpublished "Yamasagas" novels. Those tribes are, from left to right, Dryadni, Daemoni, Daeshi, and Danaan.
This scene tested the capacity of Vue - and my computer - to handle polygons. All four figures and the scenery prop were rendered in one pass without resort to layering or compositing. The image has no post-work, save for a minor color correction, borders and lettering.
Hope you enjoy, and thanks for taking a look!

Umn, no wonder, that Palace of Leaves is a render pig unto itself, even with no figures in a set it sucks up huge resources... let alone to have 4 additional high poly figures and to try and then do it in a single pass. It's a wonder your mother board didn't explode. This scene really must be seen in full view. The faes all look beautiful and they are fairly oozing with confidence. And I see someone else notches her bow on the same side that I do as opposed to 90% of the archery world.

I like this scene. The poses are very well done, with the exception of the bow hand on the lady to the left. I know Roxy poses her archers this way to but when you look at the position of the third feather - facing the grip - you'll note that the arrow's trajectory would be ruined when that feather deflected off the bow, nor is the arrow well supported. Regardless, I like this scene full of lovely women adventurers. The chick on the right looks very sexy. Nice image.
