Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Standing motionless, Amid circular, blue waves: The patience of stone. Congratulations on getting Gallery of the Month, especially since August is such a great month! Yeah. That rocks. I suppose that might be a pun of some sort, given the focus of this image, but I can't quite be sure.... As for this image! WOW! I like it, and yeah, it inspired a haiku as a comment. Yeah, this is a good one! Really well done! And again, congratulations on GotM...way to go! You've earned it!
