Description
Just one I took along my walking trail, near our library.. I was missing the ducks..
And thanks to you all for the comments on my last photo below, a few ask about the people wearing coats, well I took the photo last fall when the temperature had dropped, and yes it was a chilly day, and I didn't purchase one of his ice creams but he did give me a sample and YES he did actually make it in the washing machine.. and it was quite tasty..

I have two friends in Prague who will always come to mind whenever I see (or hear) ducks...one of them actually spent a few seconds quacking like one to see if his voice would echo in the cathedral-like gate of an ancient landmark. He'd heard that a duck's quack won't echo and was inordinately pleased to learn that he is not a duck. The diminutive version of another friend's name translates roughly to "Duck" but then quite a few Czech names have animal equivalents...needless to say, she also has an odd affinity for ducks, though she's more of a punk-rock girl. And what any of this has to do with this photo is beyond me, but there you have it. It's an excellent photo too, and proof that I really do need to catch up with your gallery. I love this shot.

My kids love to feed ducks - some weeks before we fed some really big gooses and as our hands were empty they run after me and make a big noise...my little daughter was frighten a bit.

I like this duckie!! Yes taking a pet to the pet store is unique. I had never done that, until we had Prissy, her previous rescuer started that. So we had to take Cassidy.
