Description

Half Dome taken from a hiking path above Glacier Point. My second trip to Yosemite, I bought one of those pano, use once and then throw it away, cameras. This was the best of the lot. Tough to scan. Please do NOT zoom – it is not the best quality scan. I’m guessing the mid 70s. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated. OMG, I haven't been to Yosemite since the mid 50s, when the population was a lot less and driving was a lot easier. Good color and raw lighting and texture in this cool panorama, Dana!

Marvelous! It's a great pano, if ever there was one. For the decade in which this picture was taken and given that you scanned this, it came out quite nicely. I actually like the scan artifacts as well as the overall original picture's quality...it adds a kind of...(insert French phrase here) that really gives this image a different sort of appealing edge. I really like it.
