Had a week off work recently and, one day, visited Windsor Castle. Reading is only a few miles from Windsor and I have been there many times yet, oddly, never been inside the Castle. So, this was a first for me. I took quite a few photos but it was a rainy day with only a little sunshine so many of them are a little drab. I will, however, post a short series of favourites that either looked good or could be made interesting with a little post-work. Sadly, photography is banned inside the buildings which is a shame because there were some magnificent sights but, nonetheless, some of the exteriors are quite grand. This was a shot from the path between the visitors entrance and the State Apartments.
