Description

This was taken on the approach to the entrance to the State Apartments. I was doing a shot of the stonework when these Guardsmen marched by and I just couldn't resist the shot. It was still wet and grey at the time so, overall, the picture was a tad dull. Once again, the monchrome treatment saved the day. The texture of the stonework has been tweaked once again and I just had to restore the colour in the Guards jackets - they are so red. :-) ------------------------------------------ Original Photograph 22-Jul-2010 Post-work in Photoshop

Very good photo, and your post work efforts have really paid off well - could be taken as a pro photographer's shot. Keep up the good work, and I'm looking foreward to more photos from Windsor. :)
