Hi everybody,
My name is Dana Pommet and my wife’s name is Josephine. I was born in Gloucester, Massachusetts, in 1942, and except for a tour in the Navy, lived there for most of my life. I retired to Delray Beach, Florida in December 2000. We love to travel and photography goes hand and hand with that. I went digital about 5 years ago and started posting November 22, 2008. I have met so many wonderful people on RR and that makes this whole process so much more interesting than just posting photos. Thanks for all the comments and keep them coming.
Update  January 2012: After hiding and denying my mild Dyslexia, for most of my professional life, and now fighting with its advancement – I want to thank you all for putting up with my poor typing skills and spelling problems. I know that my spell checker hates me and I now depend completely on audio books rather then actually reading printed books.  Life marches on!  Â

Cute! But make sure she knows not to kiss him, they don't all turn into princes. ;D Great capture!

I adore this shot! Tori is just gorgeous and so vivacious. Her sparkling personality shines in this shot. Kermit is - well - a very handsome frog as well. Stellar shot with a fabulous pov.

Knowing 9 year olds (raised 3), you are lucky she doesn't also go into the pond! Sweet child!

Splendid POV, clarity, lighting and texture in this pic of your beautiful granddaughter and the mighty Kermit, who seems to be in a more pleasant mood this go around, Dana. In fact, he looks like he's smiling.

What a nice shot! And a girl after my own heart. Amphibious company is always quite entertaining, and they usually have the best amphibian gossip too; not that us mammals would understand any of it. I love Kermit's indifferent expression too. This is a great shot.

Adorable capture! Wendy Froud was here last week. She made major characters for Dark Crystal and knew Sir Kermit of Muppetry very well. ^_^

We are only in New Hampshire for 3 to 4 months in the summer. I have to admit that the first few encounters between Tori and Kermit were with a net. Kermit is a large bullfrog in a medium pond. Maybe 100 feet by 60 feet – according to the water level, and this has been a dry summer. The first few times Kermit had black leaches attached to his body. If you check my June 19th, 2010 posting, you can see that there in a leach on Kermit’s right leg. After a few leach removals and release back into the pond. The net was not always needed and then not needed at all. It amazes me that this “dance” of catch, leach removal and release continues since we haven’t seen a leach the last few times. And then again, it isn’t always successful 100% of the time but lots of fun trying. Dana
