Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Yeah! Impala is definitely on my list and now whenever I even think in the direction of anything even remotely associated with GTO, I usually attach the name Marilyn to it, which is hilarious, since I'm not even a car guy. Corey must have rubbed off. This is really nice work. I like the shimmery shiny quality and the way in which the blues and reds play around with each other is really nice...those colors alone bring the whole collage together and give it a little bit of a sizzle...not too much, more like the nice sizzle of something spiced just right--not to where it burns, but to where you can feel that little extra zing. Yeah, I like it when photography does that...

You would have loved my '60 Impala...it was the hottest one in town and I had two of the town's best mechanics working on it most of the time to put more into it.
