Description

A rose from the Lewis & Beckman garden on Whidbey Island, Washington. One of the beautiful blooms we saw while on a garden tour earlier in the summer.

It looks so fresh and extremely alive! I love the crispness of it too...I never really think of "crisp" and "pink" in the same sentence...well...almost never, but this is one of those times when I do. The details and DOF really stand out and I love the contrast of the pink and the shadowed greens, with those Impressionist splotches of hazy bluish purple. Yeah, I like this a lot!
