Description

Bladdernut tree seed pods at the Franklin Park Zoo's butterfly garden, in Boston, Massachusetts. They reminded me of those orange Chinese lantern bushes but these were high on a tree. THANK YOU ANDREA (DURLEYBEACHBUM) FOR THE ID. Zoom for best viewing details. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated. Dana

Keen clarity in this cool capture of the pods and surrounding flora, the name of which only Andrea would know, Dana. And, the term, seed pods, always reminds me of the movie(s), Invasion of the Body Snatchers.
