Description
The Blue-crowned Motmot, is a colourful bird found in forests and woodlands of eastern Mexico, Central America, northern and central South America, and Trinidad and Tobago. Like most of the Coraciiformes, motmots nest in tunnels in river banks, laying about three or four white eggs. They are 15 – 19 inches (38–48cm) long. Photo taken at the Franklin Park Zoo, Boston, Massachusetts, last Wednesday. Info from Wikipedia.
