A rhododendron from the Lewis & Beckman garden on Whidbey Island. The three bells made me think of Fanfare for the Common Man by Aaron Copeland. If you click the link, you'll see why!

Copland rocks! I love his Grand Canyon Suite! And yeah...fanfare for the Common Man fits this so perfectly! I have yet to photograph Rhododendrons and this is inspiration to do so. I love the color and the details in this, and can virtually feel those petals. That's always a good thing.
