My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Great shot and wonderful tale! Thank you very much for the chuckle tonight, Tara! I just wish I could rate this higher than a 5!

She got an email , all the hot princes were at the ball. So she quickly got her best and hottest dress on, did her hair, makeup, and made sure she looked really fly, jumped in her Jag and headed over to the ball. Ok ok I'll stop. Cool shot!

It's all true; I saw her last night at a blues bar; she was surrounded by young men who were vying for her attention. We struck up a conversation, had a few drinks and danced our @@@@@ off with these guys. She ROCKS!!!

Wonderful capture and POV Tara but I have to tell you that your narrative is outstanding. Dana

Actually, Rapunzel's main problem is that she's old enough now that the 106 steps from the ground to the observation deck above the 104 year old water tank is more trouble than it's worth for her. So, she huffed and she puffed and blew down the houses belonging to two of the three little pigs (remember made of straw and twigs), got stalled out trying to blow down the brick house of the third little pig and decided to leave the Fairy Tale business for an easier job with better benefits. Love your picture!!!

Actually, I think I saw her hanging out with Lady Godiva the other day. They were riding a horse, and stirring up a bit of mayhem, the rascals! Great shot of the tower, though!

I saw this last night, but couldn't comment as I wanted to and so I'm commenting now and I'm glad to announce that I'm having the same reaction. When I first saw this, I had a Laurie Anderson moment and immediately heard her voice in my head, declaring: Hansel and Grettel are alive and well...and they're living in Berlin. She is a cocktail waitress. He had a part in a Fausbinder film. And they sit around at night, now, drinking schnapps and gin..." So it's no wonder that Rapunzel has left the building and pursued a writer's life. As for this shot: WOW! Stunning POV and a wonderful sense of scale, and I love the stonework. I have a thing for stonework anyway, and there's also a part of me that's wondering how Agaran this structure might be. Now I'm rambling, so I'm gonna shut up, but I simply had to comment on this shot. It's marvelous and I love the story.

I think she's actually doing Miss Clairol commercials on one of those obscure cable channels in the 500 range. Evidently the pay is suprisingly good but she'd like to kill her agent. That's the story I heard on Entertainment Tonight, and we all know that they're never wrong... Very funny by the way and love the shot and POV.
wysiwig
Excellent POV. It fits the narrative perfectly. I'd always wondered what happened to her. Last I heard she was selling a line of hair care products. Thanks for the update.
