Description
Clint does some serious negotiating. Amanda is very shrewd, but fair. They finally arrive at a mutually agreeable business deal. Clint will be investing several millions in her company for several undisclosed benefits and guarantees. They both send documents back and forth to their lawyers to scrutinize and finally wind up signing a pretty lucrative deal.After several grueling hours business, they both come out of the office with smiles on their faces.
That night, Amanda has Sean and Simon exhibit their best chefs skills and helps them create a most memorable banquet. Amanda is no slouch in the culinary arts either, having gotten her twins interested in it from watching her. Everyone is in gastric heaven and stuff themselves mercilessly with the incredible fineries.
After the extended banquet, everyone is too exhausted for any further celebrating and retire for the night. Mid-morning the next day, Clint, Joey and Ridge wind up in the mansion for a hearty lunch and to bid everyone a fond farewell. Clint and company have decided it is time to get on with their journey.
Joey and Nate have had a great reunion the night before. Simon and Sean entertained them with jokes and fast talk between their meal preparations and kept both boys in stitches. They discover that while they really like each other, they also realize they are just going to be friends. Life long friends, but just friends.
So, our travelers are back on old US 66. They have a smooth ride all the way to Amarillo TX. Ridge has them pull over at the city limits and tells them of this old bar he used to stop at once in awhile years ago. He doesn’t know if it still exists, but he remembers having great times there. Clint is all for checking it out if it still exits, so Ridge leads the way.
