Poi si posa sulle piante oltre il muro di parapetto che si affaccia sulla strapiombo ( siamo in alta collina , sopra Massaciuccoli ). Provo a fotografare , ma è molto lontana . Poi lei scende un pò e a quel punto decido di salire io sopra il muretto ( il rischo è limitato grazie agli alberi ) .Questo collage riassume il tutto . The Charaxes Jasius is a butterfly of tropical origin, only the genus Charaxes Nymphalidae living in Italy. This is a bug NYMPHALIDS that can reach 80 mm. wingspan. As mentioned, the butterfly lives in our latitudes in the Mediterranean along the coast, marked by the abundant presence of the strawberry plant. The butterfly has two generations per year. The first in May / June and the second in August / September, so that some samples can be identified until November. The female flies from leaf to leaf to lay their eggs, not more than 4-5 per plant.
