Ieri , per impegni vari ,sono stato assente pomeriggio e sera fino a tardi, spero nell’ora tarda di non avere dimenticato qualcosa o qualcuno .
Yesterday, for various commitments, I was absent the afternoon and evening until late, late hour I hope not to have forgotten something or someone.

FAMIGLIA: Nymphalidae
DISTRIBUZIONE GEOGRAFICA: Europa, Asia, Africa, America settentrionale, Australia, Oceania, Hawaii.
Sottospecie: nessuna.
Specie simili: nessuna (almeno in Italia).
Identificazione : Apertura alare 45-60 mm. Il colore di fondo è rosato-aranciato, le ali anteriori sono bordate di nero,che si estende in una fascia più larga verso l’apice. Questo è attraversato da piccole macchioline bianche, che si prolungano in una fascetta dello stesso colore fino alla costa esterna.Le posteriori sono ugualmente attraversate da macchie,specialmente lungo il margine esterno ed interno,ove assumono la forma di piccoli ocelli. La superficie inferiore è chiara, le ali posteriori sono marcate da ocelli più chiari, i più grandi con centro azzurro,mentre il resto dell’ala è percorso da variegature biancastre e giallastre. La superficie inferiore delle ali anteriori è invece pressochè simile alla superiore, con macchie manche e bande nere alternate a zone rosate.

GEOGRAPHICAL DISTRIBUTION: Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, Australia, Oceania, Hawaii.
Subspecies: None.
Similar species: none (at least in Italy).
Identification: Wingspan 45-60 mm. The background color is pinkish-orange, the forewings are bordered with black, which extends in a band wider towards the apex. This is crossed by small white spots, which extend in a band of the same color back to the coast are also traversed by esterna.Le spots, especially along the outer edge and interior, where the form of small ocelli. The bottom surface is clear, the hind wings are marked ocelli clearer, larger center with blue, while the rest of the wing is crossed by whitish and yellowish variegation. The bottom surface of the forewings is almost similar to the upper hand, with round spots and black stripes alternating with areas of pink.
