La superficie inferiore è chiara, le ali posteriori sono marcate da ocelli più chiari, i più grandi con centro azzurro,mentre il resto dell’ala è percorso da variegature biancastre e giallastre. La superficie inferiore delle ali anteriori è invece pressochè simile alla superiore, con macchie manche e bande nere alternate a zone rosate.
