I am a self-taught graphic artist now residing in Dubai . Born in Jamshedpur, I have a BSc in IT and have worked for Infosys Technologies, Bangalore, India for a few years. I now work as a freelance designer and artist, and have clients from around the globe.
My prime interest is in fine arts, in which I hold a higher diploma. I came into graphic art after dabbling in traditional fine arts for some time, and taught myself Photoshop and Illustrator.
My style centres on creative use of lines, curls and curves, developed around wide ranging themes. A feature of my art is the use and modern interpretation of the traditional forms and motifs of Indian art, mainly from the “Alpona” style of my native Bengal.
