Description

Mary Schaffer discovered Maligne Lake in 1908. These are just two of the hundreds of mountains that can be seen from the lake. This is Mt Charlton (left) and Mt Unwin (right at 10,722 feet – 3,268 meters), named by Mary, to honor her guides on her second trip up to Maligne Lake. Taken with a film camera (July & August 1988) and recently scanned. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated. Dana
